the news is out. if you read moxie, and a host of other sites, primarily the liberal media, george bush has fixed the election by bribing the saudis.

with high gas prices only going higher bush has convinced the saudi royal family to fix our presidential ELECTION by over supplying petrol so that the gas price drops, and bush wins!

wtf?

first:

dropping the gas price is nice, but i personally will not cast my vote depending SOLELY on the price of gas. i don’t think the rest of the voting public will either. there are a host of other issues that will define our upcoming election. including abortion, the iraqi war, taxes, the extent of social programs, crime, gun control, and the list goes on.

i didn’t see the price of gas on that list. before this issue, with gas prices rising, the notion of the rising price affecting my vote never entered my mind.

this is a manufactured crisis.

second:

and this is the far more important of the two points.

who would the saudis rather help? a sitting president who has demonstrated his propensity to spank arab nations? or a waffling senator who not only married for money, but will also go to any extreme to avoid a war? like surrendering.

the official saudi religion is wahhabi-ist islam. dubya has pulled the u.s. out of saudi and moved our military forces to qatar. the majority of the 9-11 hijackers were saudi.

i don’t know if you liberals know, but in conservative circles, the saudis are high on the list for invasion.

it is in the saudi arabian royal family’s best interests to see dubya defeated. and islams best interests. and alqaeda’s.

so, lets look at the facts again.

it is in the saudi best interest for dubya to lose the upcoming election.

many things would piss the u.s. voting public off enough to oust him. one of them would be a bad economy. the saudis can only effect a decrease in our economy with one thing.

oil.

rising gas prices would lend to the perception of a failing economy. regardless of the actual state of the economy. and possibly increase sentiment against dubya, and for kerry.

so there.

rising gas prices hurt gwb and favor kerry.
