well, i’m a big fan of the new battlesatr galactica on scifi. it comes on fridays after stargate atlantis or some other show like that. i don’t watch those. just battlestar.

i used to watch the original battlestar back in the day. it’s pretty amazing now to look back at the cheesy special effects and to remember how amazed i was when i first saw them.

if y’all aren’t watching this show, and you like science fiction, you are SERIOUSLY missing out.

they did the miniseries about a year ago or so which is available on dvd. beautiful special effects. and the show feels like a movie. like an epic. not a cheesy tv series.

i was really worried about the series before it started. worried to see where they would take it, and to see how much money scifi was willing to put into the effects.

i was very pleased with the first episode titled 33. it picked up exactly where the miniseries left off. and kept the same cast and level of effects. it still feels like an epic to me.

course it helps that there are a couple of girls in the movie who are totally hot. and funny enough, they both play bad guys. just like in real life. all you hot chicks need to behave!

specifically, grace park, and tricia helfer. there are some other girls in the show too, but they just aren’t all of that.

in the original show, starbuck was a guy, and a womanizer. the new series made starbuck a woman, and a supposed slut, but she isn’t really getting around that much. she’s pretty but just not on the same level as the cylon girls. oh, the bad guys in the show are called cylons in case you didn’t know. they’re sentient machines, kind of like the terminator. but the idea came from before the terminator.

anyhow, the season finale just aired firday night. it made me yell outloud at the very end. grace park was very naughty, and i dare say she needs a spanking!
