so i’m in the states.

i’m here in dulles til 12:50.

i just don’t care that it’s taking so long.

the flight ovr was cool. took forever to get on the plane. i basically had to loiter anywhre i could in kwi until check-in. at that time i was in the dasman lounge awaiting takeoff. business class is the way to go.

i flew in a 777 from kwi for almost 13 hours.

we took off and as soon as we were airborne, and the plane hit altitude and the seat belt sign went off, they started serving wine. o asked for a beer, but the guy said that the kuwaitis won’t let them ice it down pre flight. so i needed to wait 45 minutes or an hour before my heinekin was ready.

i had wine. some argentine cabernet. i have no idea what it was. but they just kept filling my glass and i kept sipping. the kuwaiti lady across the aisle did NOT approve. bad role model for her little hellions and all.

think i gave a shit?

never did get a beer. the wine was good.

right after wine started, dinner came. i got the hallal lamb with saffrom rice and okra.

and more wine. i had to have the lamb. red wine with red meat afterall.

then movies started. i watched ‘hot fuzz’. pretty funny. if you liked sean of the dead, you’ll like hot fuzz. and i picked it out of the 7 available because it was the only comedy.

by this time (after the move), i could see on the flight tracker, that we had flown out over the persian gulf, then gone parallel to the iraq iran border northwest (over iraq). then over turkey and were currently over the black see approaching the ukraine/moldova landfall.

i reclined back and tried to catch some sleep. i have a horrible time getting sleep on planes. but i was in bussiness class. thechair reclined.

i slept hard. waking only when kuwaiti lady’s little apes knocked my chair.

i missed mid flight snack.

i woke up over maine! they were getting ready to serve breakfast. eggs, steak and grilled shrooms.we were ove ny by the time we were done.

so now i’m in dulles. gate10.

oh. i saw sports center today. been nearly a year.
