making change is so hard for people

nobody really counts change anymore. if you watch, people wait for the register to tell them how much to give back.

but i hate this, and this is one of my hugest pet peeves.

when you buy something, and the clerk takes your money, then gets the bills out and holds them in his hand. then places the receipt on top of the bills, and finally places the coins on top of the sack and hands it to you in a neat little package.

i HATE this.

i hate it, i hate it, i hate it!

why?

so then i have to stand there and separate out the coins to put in my pocket. then take the receipt off of the bills because i’m not putting it in my wallet. and then i can put the bills in my wallet,

why don’t they just drop the receipt in the bag?

then hand me the coins in one hand, and the bills in the other? it makes it so much easier for me to be on my way.

clerks do this little thing and then want me to shuffle off for them to handle the next customer. and i have to step to the side and unassemble the little clerk package.

help me out a little!
