i say girls because i have no idea how old one of them is. the other is in her early 20’s.
i read zen for lunch because i like the girl. she’s pretty straight forward. doesn’t hurt that she is hot either. after our election, she was a little skeptical about the future. and i’m putting it mildly. she pretty much lays it all out on the line in this post.
i realized her practicality when she asked me why we don’t celebrate both canadian and US versions of thanksgiving. her reasoning had something to do with double the turkey, double the stuffing!
now there’s a canadian proposal i could stomache. yeah, i know.
but more recently, the great red temptress brought her readers (that’s me and a bajillion other people) attention to this posting on small dead animals.
i’ve not read kate before but i kind of like her attitude.
she watched dubya deliver his speech to the canadians the other day and was quite surprised at his lucidity. she seems to realize that the press was portraying him in a bad light.
I wonder how many Canadians are surprised at how eloquent and well spoken this idiot is.

i always have liked canada. i’ve only met a couple of canadians, but i liked them. that day they smuggled some of our embasy personnel out of iran, while the rest of our embasy in iran were hostages, was a day they earned a ton of street cred with me.
i just hope they start to realize we aren’t the raving bunch of psychos the media portray us/US as. we could use their help.

so yeah, if there’s a post on Canadians, you know i have to have something to say. “we need their help”? cmon man. the canadians dont even have an army. the day that the canandians help us in a time of great need will be the day that… hmmm… cant think of a good enough impossible thing to happen…. oh, yeah. it’ll be the day when hockey is popular.

fyi, d-day had 5 kill zones more commonly known as beaches. 2 were US, 2 were brit, 1 was canadian. they were out there, side by side. with guns.
and need i re-point out their nonmilitary help like the rescue they did for our embasy personnel in iran, circa 1979? i’ll email you about that.
they have good beer, and cool chicks. be good to the canucks john. it’s the best thing we can do to discredit the MSM and how they paint us in the world media

medium john – need i point out that canadians on the east coast helped out with stranded americans during 9/11? and here’s a question, why did president bush wait 3 years before thanking us for that?
whoa, bunch of canada fans. ok. i can deal with that. i’ve been to canada, and although Quebec was like going to France (don’t even get me started on THEM) some canadians are cool, like my childhood idol, Jim Carrey.
