Davidbeen awhile?
i’m glad to see some old readers stopping back by. i need to start making my rounds as well.
a little status. i gave up my cube in the “butt hut” to a new arrivakl when i was happily returning home. i have a new cube now. empty and barren. i’m remodeling now. i’ve bought some new clothes so i’m not nekkid or wearing dirty undies. no, not tighty whiteys either.
life is settling back into routine. wake up. go to work. get done with work. go home and go to sleep. repeat, repeat, repeat.
paydays are still nice.
i sent some stuff home recently, and presents to others. i know jeanna is happy, but i haven’t heard from other present getters yet.
haven’t been online in a few days. i bought a new laptop and haven’t gotten it online yet (f’n windows vista). i like it lots. see the part about nice paydays? and at the same time my company put out a mass nasty gram about using corporate laptops for personal things, like porno (blocked here) and bit torrents (guilty). so i took it as high time to buy my own.
toshiba p105. it rocks. has nice built in speakers, and a little finger biometric reader that works!
school has resumed. i am immersed once again in the international economy.
and yeah. right now, i could literally be on the beach with scantily clad girls and drinking margaritas. i’m doing my best not to dwell on that too much.

Toshiba — aren’t they the ones who sold sensitive military technology to the Soviets back in the 1980s? Still haven’t forgiven them for that….
Intrernational economy — will you be doing a paper studying the butterfly effect? e.g., had Greenspan suffered severe indigestion one day, how would that have affected the world’s vanadium market, and how much additional power would that have given the Russians?
