    1. Without doing any research, I knew #1, 4, 7, 9, 10, 13, 15, 16, 18, 19, 21, 24, 25, 26, 32, 34, 36, 37, 38, 41, 43, 49, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 61, 63, 64, 67, 68, 84, 85, 86, 90, 93, 94, 95, 96, 97, 98, and 99. Not even 50%.

    2. “84 Alyssa Milano
      85 Eleanor Roosevelt”

      Interesting juxtaposition.

I would include Angela Davis, Oprah, Geraldine Ferraro, Susie Bright, Shere Hite, Virginia Woolf. I’ll think of more later.

    3. oprah? why? what has she actually done. ask yourself, did i include merv griffin? what are the chances i would include oprah. i purposely excluded her

geraldine ferraro? why? if i skipped the first woman nominated for president, why include the first woman nominated for vp? purposely excluded as well.

    4. virginia wolf? the extent to which women authors are canonized as great women is ridiculous. it was difficult for me to find women who were not authors or activists to put in the list. at a point i drew the line and began purposely excluding authors.

shiri hype? why on earth would i include her?

    5. “oprah? why?”
A direct line to the heart of America. She’s preceded or outlasted all the other shows that use the host’s first name as a title. She’s brought countless life-changing issues to people’s consciousness in a sensitive manner. Her reputation is still sterling. She loves us and gives us cars. Merv was an ass-kissing pinhead. (And not a woman.)

“if i skipped the first woman nominated for president, why include the first woman nominated for vp?”
They should both be there, come to think of it. Just because.

      “virginia wolf?”
Woolf. She was a great writer herself and an important figure for those who came after her. You obviously haven’t read anything by her, correct?

      “shiri hype?”
Was that some sort of a joke? I don’t get it. She has done more to raise the public profile of the clitoris than anyone. But of course you wouldn’t know about that…

    6. wolf. coyote. i don’t really care. did you see thoreau on my list of 100 greatest men? i obviously think literature is the end all be all of life.

oprah? her greatest achievement is outlasting all of the other first name titles shows? she gives away cars? should i have included lotto on the list gus? excluded, adn she stays off.

shiri hype. she’s done more to raise the public profile of the clitoris than anyone? i disagree. see item 54. shere hyte is walking ground well trodden by others before her.

    7. ” i disagree. see item 54.”
I’m not sure Marilyn, like most women of her generation and before (and plenty since), even knew she had a clitoris.
“shere hyte is walking ground well trodden by others before her.”
      oh? like who?

    8. Watch out, Mlah, when you dis Hite, you dis the academicians who are so beloved by Gus. And since Hite provided fodder for the radical feminist movement (and especially for the Lesbian Liberation types), she is ever more so the hero to Gus. You risk raising his extreme ire if you disregard his nominations to your list. He’ll call you uncouth and ill lettered if you don’t desist. Tremble, Mlah, tremble.

    9. i like to have something against them as often as possible. we just disagree with your analysis about shere hype.

she does what she does because monroe paved the way. shere hype isn’t even a footnote in history.

    10. Did I say something mysoginistic? I merely laughed at your fascination with militant feminist-lesbian liberationist “academicians.” And no Gus, I really have nothing against you.

    11. What do you 2 have against Hite? Really, I don’t understand the venom. I wasn’t aware that she was a target of the right.

    12. quit trying to agrandize her and then blame your failure on us. she is a charlatan. a minor league player in the company of giants.

let it pass man, she’s inconsequential.

    13. I’m not arguing with your stupid list. I’m just curious, honestly. You seem to know something about her that I don’t. What, exactly, do you hold against her? Simple question.

    14. “you mean like her unscientific methods to gather data? which she then slanders men with?”
Is that the rap? I didn’t know that. What sort of slander?
I’ve only read one book by her, but it really blew my mind. Especially the similarities between the male and female parts and how most women can’t climax with only vaginal penetration.
