so a little about the group of guys i’m hanging out with here in gitmo.

shortly before i arrived, they had a little shindig.

they actually had a toga party.

now, most people here are transient. so we don’t have all of our household goods. if they were to have a toga party tomorrow, my snoopy sheets, specially reserved for toga parties would remain stashed away in texas. because here, all there are is the plain old white sheet.

but this was a couple of weeks ago.

they had a little to drink. and decided to model their latest fashion sense off else klensch style at the local ‘windjammer’. one of the few eating establishments available here.

did i mention this was a while ago? take a looksee at the calendar. it’s march. the roman tribute happened in february.

national black history month. and rumour has it, it was also mlk jr’s birthday.

the windjammer was hosting a little gathering of it’s own. including a base CO i understand, and some other dignitaries.

so in dances this conga line of middle aged white guys in sheets.
