i’m sitting here at my table reading on my laptop and someone knocked on the inside of my bathroom door! i freaked out. i was JUST in my bathroom!
so i barge in ready to grab and eject some asshole from my hotel room.
and the bathroom is empty.
i swear they knocked. like they wanted in my room. and i could hear them moving around in there too. the swish of cloth was very distinguishable.

I think many of these European places are haunted. We were staying at a remote 17th century farmhouse (agritourismo) a few months ago when a baby started screaming at 0300. Ours was asleep, and there were no other children on the premises. The closest inhabited building oter than the farm complex was down the mountain about 3 kilometers away.
