Davidso tonight i finally made it in to the gitmo tkd class. all of last week i hunted for it.
they had a hard cardio / calisthenics class today, which is just what i need. this is the longest i’ve gone in 3 + years without working out reliably.
i’m a little sore and it feels good.
it’s amazing how small the world is. the navy chief who runs the class was stationed in rota the same time i was. never knew him, but we were there at the same time.
his daughter taught class tonight. she’s 16 and just got her license. her dad is worried about her getting in trouble. come on, the speed limit here is 25. EVERYWHERE! how much trouble can you get into.
rumor has it that a bicycle actually got a ticket for speeding here. yeah, the sp’s will give you a ticket.
anyway, today’s instructor’s mother just moved to san antonio. guess where she’ll be this summer? san antonio. i’m already hooking her up with my san antonio school.
it’s a small world, and just keeps getting smaller.
so, is their program any good? will you still be in top form when you get back here? You’d better be, I expect nothing less 😉
It’s good to read that you are keeping up with TKD. As for me not much has changed. I’m up for promotion this month, and NSMA will be holding a power house training day in April.
