this is the little village of b huts where i live. you can actually see mine very well, but i won’t say which it is. there actually are taliban within about 150 km of here, so i’m all incognito.
those mountains are what are commonly known as the hindu kush. part of the himalayas.

here’s the hallway inside my cozy little b-hut
and this last little bit is my cozy little cube. i’ve since nailed up some nice blankets to try and keep the heat in, so it is all dark. kind of like you see the one cube is partitioned off in the pic.
yeah. this is home til june or so. i don’t really mind anything except for the cold. mom and dad have come through and are sending an electric blanket and space heater. come on mail plane!

You cubicle-home reminds me of the stalls in the lupinarium at Pompeii. About the same size and same furnishing (a bed).
