why?
she disapperars for 4 days. the police are looking for her. her family is looking for her. her classmates are volunteering to look for her. her hometown is posting flyers. local citizens are looking for her. the media is broadcasting it to the world.
i was hoping they would find her. alive.
i got my wish. and i guess what i got is better than them finding her body.
fraud?
police are saying there is evidence she was at her house during the 4 day absentia. they found time stamps on her computer indicating she had logged in. people claimed to have seen her walking around town…..
again. why?
police are estimating 70,000 ducats was the cost of the ‘hunt’ foir audrey.
i hope they bill her
and more importantly.
all of the people who gave their time to help find her were doing so on the premise that she had been abducted, or was in some kind of trouble.
she led them on.
now i’m saying it.
fraud.
i hope they bill her too.
if i spent 4 hours trudging through a swamp looking for a girl in trouble, and found out it was a hoax. i’d mail her a certified letter with a bill in it. 4 hours work.
i think what she has done may have an effect on future volunteers to help find missing young ladies/children. and an effect on the detrimental side.
should they cube her? i don’t really think so. the bill from the city will do nicely. and some citizen bills would be great.
oh, and maybe u of wisconsin should send her packing. do they really want students like audrey?
i suspect she was looking for a made for tv miniseries royalty check. the police should check her computer for a script.

I feel sorry for this girl. She is very pretty but obviously has something that is off upstairs.
Send her a bill? Sure, if she asked you to look for her. But she didn’t. You can’t decide to do something on your own accord and then blame someone else for your own actions. Audrey never comitted a crime until she lied to the police. She never asked anyone to search for her. She didn’t fake a kidnapping. We believed she was kidnapped and she didn’t correct us for four days. Yes she lied to the police. For that she was found guilty. But we all leaped to the conclusion that she was abducted long before she said a single word. Shame on us for making that leap so easily. For the time I spent searching, no one owes me a dime.
