In my 11 1/2 years in Texas, I’ve been to Whataburger twice. The first visit was back in ’99 (it was before an Econ exam, that’s how I remember) and I went through the drive-thru. The second time was a couple of months ago. The burger was great, but the dining area was horrible. It was filthy, no one seemed interested in cleaning the food all over the floor…and, how do I put this delicately, mentally challenged folks were serving the orders. Our guy kept forcing us to accept an order that wasn’t ours. Maybe I should just stick with the drive-thru?
