so Kara Mia at “Life or Something Like It” posted a nice little weirdness meme and totally avoided tagging me.

so i’m just going to steal the thing for myself!

Here are the rules:

SIX WEIRD THINGS ABOUT ME:

1. i relentlessly knock on the windshield right by the rearview mirror whenever i see a car with one headlight out. this is highly amusing to my coworkers out here. i don’t know why they find it so hard to believe that it actually makes you invisible to cops. but it works!

2. when i was little, i thought that the cardboard in the back of candy bars (especially almond joys) was a movie ticket. i would save them for when i went to the movies next. my mom would sneak in my room and throw them out because ‘no, baby, they aren’t movie tickets’. it totally would have worked too.

3. when i lived in ft meade, maryland, i knew where there was an elf that lived in a treetop and rode around from tree to tree in his little go-cart that went on ropes. and yes, when i wa sback there working a couple of years ago. i went and looked.

4. when i walk down a bricked sidewalk, or a tiled floor, i have to walk on even numbered rows of bricks/tiles. yes i have been caught doing this by dates.

5. i love salad but rarely eat it. whenever i start cutting vegetables for a salad i usually break down and just eat them individually. like tomatoes and cucumbers. radishes. i tried a green onion once. i usually wind up throwing the lettuce out because i have nothing left to make a salad with.

6. when i was little i had a recurring nightmare…. about deserts. so it totally weirds me out now that i’m over here. anybody want to know the real reason i volunteered to go where i am soon to go? instead of that other place? it’s not a desert.
