i just watched the holiday bowl in san diego. i’m a huge college football fan. and the sooners are my team. oregon tried to make a comeback, but ou just managed to hold on. after losing their last two bowl games, which were national championship games, it was nice to see them win one again.

they struggled early this season, going 2-3 in their first 5 games and finishing out the season at 7-4. their last loss came to texas tech on what is commonly being reffered to as the phantom touchdown. a just plain bogus call made by the refs to give the red raiders the game in the closing seconds.

oregon was 10-1, or 11-1 on the year and were upset they got denied a bcs bowl bid. and they lost to a 7-4 team.

so much for pac-10 football.

now i’m just hoping the horns beat the trojans.
