Why does she matter? She’s dating one of the Kelce’s. Good for them. Hope it works out for them. Who celebrities are dating stopped mattering a long, long time ago…

    1. Just went over to Rachel’s site. She basically said things exactly how I’ve been feeling lately. Most of my comments as of late have been the ranting of someone so sick of the left’s activities and their whole philosophy on life and telling people how they should think or feel, particularly around voting.

It is disgusting. We’re experiencing the left’s rampage right here in good ol’ pennsylvania, what with the gambling legislation scam and tax increases with nothing to show for it except to give everyone anything they want because they have lawyers without hte burden of have to take responsibility. Life is beautiful.

We’ve even caught factcheck.org in a couple misleading “facts”.

The only thing wrong with what Rachel said was the part about how half this country thinks we would be “safer, richer, and generally more please with Kerry”. Actually, only half of that half feel that way, the other half is not voting for Kerry but voting against Bush, which is even scarier.

PS. Rachel, if you view this comment, thank you for the post. 🙂

US allies in Europe prefer Kerry for president
ISN SECURITY WATCH (15/10/04) – Polls commissioned by newspapers in 10 countries show that by a margin of two to one, citizens of states considered US allies prefer Democratic contender John Kerry to incumbent George Bush for US president. On average, those polled in the 10 countries favored Kerry by a margin of 54 per cent, to Bush’s 27 per cent. Those surveyed in Australia, Britain, Canada, Mexico, France, Japan, Spain, and South Korea, said they preferred Kerry, while respondents in Israel and Russia favored Bush. A total of some 57 per cent of those surveyed in all 10 countries said that their view of the US had worsened under Bush. Some 20 per cent said their view of the US had improved under the Bush administration. Most surprisingly, in Britain – the US’ greatest ally in the `war on terror’ and the invasion of Iraq – respondents chose Kerry by a margin of 50 per cent to 22 per cent. Some 60 per cent of Britons polled said they did not like Bush – including an overwhelming 77 per cent of under-25s. Mexicans prefer Kerry to Bush 55-20, Spaniards 58-13, and Australians 54-28. Israelis prefer Bush by a margin of 50 per cent to 24 per cent. Back in the US, most snap opinion polls showed Kerry as the winner of the third and final debate with Bush in Tempe, Arizona on Thursday. Prior to the three televised debates, Bush had held a slight lead over Kerry, but post-debate polls have shown either the two candidates in a dead heat or a very slight edge for Kerry. A decisive battle for Electoral College votes is expected in at least 10 key states in the 18 remaining days before the election.
[And the Russian results may have been different if the poll hadn’t been taken right after the Bellan tragedy.]

    3. beslan tragedy.

and bush had a huge lead going into the debates. people were talking about the kerry campaign folding.

he did a good job, but like so much of the rest of his life, kerry’s comeback was just window dressing. latest polls now show bush starting to regain the lead. people are begiining to realize that kerry was after all, just a good debater.

your stats about foreigners? most americans quit listening to what foreigners think we ought to do in 1776.

funny isn’t it? that of all the countries listed, the two who have to deal with terrorism the most, israel and russia, are the two who favor bush.

think for yourself dude, and quit pasting somebody else’s wotk here.

    4. Mlah, Gus is just trying to let us know that he and his fellow travellers (code word: Europeans) are upset with W and want their boy Kerry to be Prez. W is not a propers Socialist, but Kerry is. Kerry will work better with International Socialism than that darn cowboy from Texas. Who’s rich, by the way. W’s just a puppet of the industrialist capitalist elite, who run this country into the ground to the detriment of us poor, unthinking proleteriat. That’s all Gussy’s sayin.

RED SOX? You do surprise me, San Francisco boy (that’s Gus, in case anyone missed it). Something we both have in common, rooting for the Red Sox. (See, It’s A Small World, After All!) Of course, I still hope the Astros prevail in the Series. But only because the Cubs were once again not up to the task (wait ’til next year).
