i was pissed.
jackal does not service my area. i was totally screwed.
the internet cafe bought the farm as well. the only place i could do anything online was at work. and most everything there is blocked, AKA, yup’s snide remark that no cheesecake sites allowed. except it’s more ike cheesecake sites will get you fired, not banned.
haven’t been up to too overly much. working of course 12 hour days. watching a little tv. watching the conventions. started a football pool.
and my dad is doing ok. he should be home soon.

Ran into Krusty today. He pointed out I haven’t seen him since about 1996. I’m getting old.
I feel your pain. I’m living over in the cilivain compund and I want to go crazy. I rarely get access to nipr. When it actually decides to work it will be slow as h*ll, and when it doesn’t work, it really doesn’t work. I LOVE my interent connection, so this is a frustrating experience.
I would say I miss Iraq, but sounds like you’re in a similar situation.
