DavidSo I went and got my tetth cleaned today. It’s been a year and a half. I was in the stan after all!
He recommends braces for me. Not really because my teeth are crooked, but because I have an underbite. He wants to put braces on me for about 2 years. Move my teeth around some, Then perform surgery on my jaw. Actually cut a piece out of each side of my jawbone, and wire my mouth shut for around 6 weeks while my jaw heals, then leave the braces on for around another year while he makes sure my teeth are all good.
One of my sisters had this done when she was a teenager. I did not.
He recommends this procedure. Says that my jaw, which is trick, or double jointed, may have problems in old age if I do not.
Somethig to consider he says. No way until after I am done with the sandbox.
Something tells me, I just won’t do this.
My teeth feel good though!
From what my husband has told me, being in Iraq in general is like getting your braces tightened every day for a year…so you’re probably wise in holding off. 🙂
At this point in my life there’s no way I’d undergo a procedure like this. Middle-aged bodies just don’t heal the way they used to. Besides you’ll be on a liquid diet in your old age anyway, who needs teeth or a jaw for that matter.
