not to worry though. i still got to cheer against mexico yesterday in hooters. it was quite comical really. there were three huge tables of mexicans… uh, i mean fans of mexican world cup soccer… who were cheering very vehemently for their uh…. favorite team….
and slowly but surely, everybody else started to cheer for argentina. and it hurt me. i hate argentine soccer. they act. they play hurt when they aren’t and try to get penalty kicks for it. weak. but i cheered for them on saturday.
mexico cheered for osama? fuck em.
argentina kicked a goal, finally, in the first overtime period. there were a host of cheers coming from around the restaurant. and lots of groans from the uh, three certain tables.
they were a little upset at first that someone dared cheer against mexico. but as the cheers kept coming from around the room, they chilled.
i’m cheering for the swiss and the spanish now. pretty much after that, i cheer for whoever i think has the best looking women. sorry england.
ooooh that was a low blow… although i’m welsh, i’m still not happy about that comment, given that my family is hardcore british and bigtime man. u supporters… and…. (are you sitting down for this) i have an aunt who was a runway model. i shit you not.
i don’t know what parts of england you’ve been too, but it sounds like you’ve been slummin’ it. perhaps you should go to london. might see a few more beautiful women.

If you look at crowd shots from the FIFA site, I would have to say that Sweden should have been in there, but they fell to the mighty German team!!!
Brazil does have the lead in eye candy fans now though! And they will problably win the tournament now that they have gotten that tub Ronaldo to start playing ball.

yes, sweden has hot chicks. NO DOUBT, but they’re already gone. if every country was still in, i’d probably be cheering for erin, then sweden, then Aus, then the dutch, and then argentina just to do a quick list of 5.
i cheer for the swiss based on my blood, just like those ur…. uh, ‘mexican americans’ were cheering for mexico based on their heritage.
i cheer for spain because i lived there for 6 years, and they are the last major powerhouse left who has never one the cup, holland being the other.
