man, that sucks. But there is a light at the end of the tunnel, as I have heard that Verizon is testing out its new super cheap super fast optical network out in texas. see if you can get in on some of that action.
And the world is a poorer place because of it, I’m certain.

pfft. the new technology im talking about is fiber optics. as cheap as dsl, but you get 5mbs downstream and 2mbs upstream. beats the pants off cable.
