Davidi went to my first hoa meeting this last thursday. we have them once a year.
i’m already in violation.
i joined the covenant committee. i figured the best way to make sure some asstard doesn’t start making bogus covenants / rules, is to be on the committee itself.
one of my friends has already predicted that i will become the complete and total hoa nazi.
not me!
now to fill out those two forms for my two ‘violations’.
Man.. I’ve always had a problem with HOA’s. I just have issues with purchasing my own home and property then having a bunch of old farts telling me what I can and can’t do to it.
I mean of course on base it’s the same way but I don’t rent or buy. I dunno.. I’m gonna move out to the country I think where I can do whatever whenever… as long as they have cable 😀

I have been in your shoes these last 2 months…….it’s called moving hell.
I had no computer for a few days because it took a while for DSL to come on again. And that part was not the worst of it.
My HOA president is…well let’s just say, when I go to a meeting, he will be an obstacle. I have already heard about him…and it is not going to be easy. I have many things to bring up, but have already found out, ‘it’s my responsibility’ because of the CC&R’s. We are responsible for part of the roof!!(the skyllight) and I had to deal with a leak from heavy rains………..thats not mentioning Plumbing and other problems……….ych!!
