That is a difficult suggestion to make without more details which probably don’t belong on this forum. However, if the individual is self-employed and not on disability, I would recommend looking at a group plan after hiring a silent employee (spouse) as a group policy requires 3 or more I believe. That would mean primary individual, plus spouse and dependant.
If the individual is looking for self-only insurance, I can only recommend an HMO (BCBS or Humana) or Gov’t supplied insurance package.
Hope this helps. Of course all of this would be subject to physicals and pre-qualification with most carriers.
